Degen: Currently developing a new incentive mechanism, aimed at rewarding long-term holders
ChainCatcher news, Farcaster ecosystem Meme coin project Degen's official announced on platform X that after listening to the community's opinions, they realized that the current reward incentive policy is not ideal. They are now developing a new incentive mechanism to reward long-term members and reduce farming behavior. Subsequent rapid iterations will be made, improvements will be implemented in the next season's activities to curb token farming behavior.
In addition, officials clarified that future systems will require users to demonstrate their commitment to the Degen project by locking or collateralizing. The aim is to reward those who hold DEGEN tokens for a long time. The corresponding incentive mechanism is currently under development.
