Ethereum ACDE meeting: The current goal is to launch the next dedicated testnet for the Pectra upgrade next week
Galaxy Research Vice President Christine Kim summarized the 190th Ethereum Core Developer Execution (ACDE) conference call, where developers shared their latest progress in implementing various code changes, including Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIP) 7251 and 7702, as well as Ethereum Object Format (EOF) and PeerDAS. Beiko also shared a suggested template for EIP discussion threads, while EF developer operations engineer Parithosh Jayanthi focused on the new GitHub page "eth-clients" for Ethereum mainnet and testnet configurations.Additionally, the developers' goal is to launch the next dedicated testnet for the Pectra upgrade next week. The main specification changes between the previous Devnet 0 testnet and the upcoming testnet include adding EL trigger validator merge functionality and replacing EIP 3074 with EIP 7702.
