The Aave DAO has approved the deployment of the Aave protocol on ZKsync, and will now enter the formal voting stage
PANews reported on June 24th, according to The Block, Aave DAO recently unanimously voted to deploy the Aave protocol on ZKsync, marking its deployment on the Ethereum Layer 2 network is about to enter the formal voting stage. This AFRC proposal (i.e., Aave's official solicitation of opinions) was written by the Aave Chan Initiative and passed with 662,000 votes in favor. It will proceed to an AIP chain vote for final approval. Previously, Aave received a ZKsync airdrop of 8.3 million ZK tokens, which is the highest among all "native projects".
