QCP Capital: Ether Options Market Quiet, Strong Ether Support at $3200 and $2800
Singapore-based crypto investor QCP Capital posted that the options market appears unusually calm as the quarter-end options expiration date approaches this Friday, and the typical end-of-quarter volatility sell-off effect begins to take hold. Today there is news that the ETH ETF is about to start trading:
VanEck has filed its Form 8-A, and it's worth noting that the same form for the Bitcoin ETF was filed exactly seven days in advance of the offering.
VanEck subsequently announced that it will waive any fees during the initial phase of its ETH ETF.
In addition, the ETH options market, which expires in July, hasn't shown much enthusiasm so far. If there is a major breakthrough in the approval process, it could come as a surprise to the market. QCP Capital also noted that ETH is showing strong support levels at $3,200 and $2,800, especially at $2,800, which has been untouched for more than four months.
