The average daily handling fee of pump.fun fell by 30% compared with last week, affected by factors such as the overall market decline.
The average daily cost of pump.fun was about $870,000 last week (June 10-14). However, this week the platform's average daily cost has dropped to about $605,000, a decrease of 30% compared to the previous week.
This decrease may be mainly attributed to the adverse effects of the broader market conditions and a 2.21% drop in SOL prices during this week, which has led to a general decrease in user risk appetite. The significant decrease in risk appetite is particularly important for platforms like pump.fun, which represents the most extreme point on the risk curve in the industry.
The assets involved and deployed on the platform typically have the most speculative nature, attracting participants who hope to make quick profits, but they will also quickly withdraw to avoid risks when the market deteriorates.
In addition, compared to the previous week, the significant decrease in revenue indicates a corresponding decrease in the deployment of tokens and overall activity, which may indicate that the platform and its hosted tokens have reached a saturation point. As the deployment of new coins increases, demand and attention may have reached a level where the platform cannot keep up with the deployment of new coins.
