K33 Research: After the launch of ETF, ETH's performance will surpass BTC
K33 Research analysts suggest that the performance of ETH spot ETFs may surpass BTC in the weeks following their launch in the United States. K33 analysts Vetle Lunde and David Zimmerman stated in a report that these two ETFs are expected to debut as early as July 8th, acting as a "golden egg" for ETH prices. Meanwhile, with $8.5 billion being returned to creditors of the bankrupt exchange Mt.Gox starting this week, Bitcoin could face selling pressure. Over the past year or so, ETH's performance has been inferior to BTC's, which has achieved market-leading gains this year due to more than $14 billion flowing into Bitcoin exchange-traded products. Lunde suggests that with the arrival of summer and accumulation of funds, ETFs will be a solid catalyst for relative strength in ETH; he firmly believes that current ETH/BTC prices are worthwhile for patient traders. "We remain optimistic about ETH's prospects and expect net inflows equivalent to 0.75-1% of circulating supply within five months after its launch."
