A certain whale sold 26,600 ETH in the past 2 hours, equivalent to approximately 82.52 million US dollars
According to on-chain analyst EmberCN‘s monitoring, in the past 2 hours, a whale who had previously leveraged long ETH on-chain sold 26.6 thousand ETH for 825.2 million USDT to unload leverage, causing ETH to drop by $100.
This whale used one-fifth of its on-chain leverage to go long on ETH, borrowing 48 million U at a price of $2,265 per unit to buy 21,192 ETH and held it for half a year without moving. Until recently when the market turned sharply downward, this whale sold off its 26.6 thousand ETH at an average price of $3,102 per unit for 825.2 million USDT two hours ago to repay its loan on Aave. Because this whale bought at a low enough price, he still realized a profit of $22.26 million (+37%).
