Bloomberg Analyst: Spot Ether ETFs Are Just "Supporting Actors" to Spot Bitcoin ETFs
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas said the launch of a spot Ether ETF could be a disappointment compared to the inflows into the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF, which is just a "supporting role" to the spot Bitcoin ETF, Balchunas explained that Bitcoin's value proposition as "digital gold" is relatively easy to understand, whereas Ether and its broader DeFi ecosystem is more akin to a tech stock, which makes it harder for traditional retail investors to understand.
