Michael Saylor reiterates Bitcoin's advantages over traditional investments during market downturn
Golden Finance reported that Michael Saylor, founder and chairman of MicroStrategy, reiterated his bullish stance on Bitcoin in his latest post on X, claiming that the cryptocurrency is designed to outperform traditional investment tools. The statement came at a time when Bitcoin prices plummeted, leading to a wide-ranging reshuffle across the crypto market. Saylor's post provides a striking chart comparing 13 years of price performance of various asset classes, including Bitcoin, US growth, Nasdaq 100 Index, gold, emerging market (EM) stocks, commodities, emerging market bonds, convertible bonds, the entire bond market, and long-term Treasury bonds. Among all the assets compared, the best performers are Bitcoin, US growth stocks, Nasdaq 100 Index, and US large-cap stocks. While these assets have generally shown positive returns almost every year since 2011, Bitcoin's investment return rate is the most amazing.
