Telegram CEO predicts: Hamster Kombat will attract millions to join the blockchain
Telegram founder Pavel Durov discussed the popularity of the Hamster Kombat phenomenon. Durov stated that Hamster Kombat is a click-to-earn money game, where players play as hamsters who are CEOs of cryptocurrency exchanges. Since its launch, it has attracted 239 million users in just three months. This game utilizes the mini-program protocol launched by Telegram in 2020. However, it wasn't until recently with the launch of click-to-earn projects like Notcoin and aforementioned Hamster Kombat that this game started to gain attention. Durov emphasized that the acceptance of Hamster Kombat allowed this project to attract 100 million users within just 73 days. He revealed that every day four to five million users join this game, making it "the fastest growing digital service globally".
