Compound CEO, CTO, and three other executives left to create Legend, a new DeFi protocol, which is intended to bring the next 100 million users onto the chain by building the world's best DeFi interface. According to reports, its founder, Jayson Hobby, served as CEO of Compound; Geoffery Hayes served as founder and CTO of Compound; and Mykel Pereira served as VP of product at Compound. Also according to, RootData, a Web3 asset data platform, Legend is a mobile-first decentralized financial protocol. Users can instantly and seamlessly trade, earn and borrow digital assets without the need for a centralized party.
