Arthur Hayes: Trump's "sudden concern for cryptocurrency" is not sincere, it's just to win the election
PANews reported on July 14th that Arthur Hayes criticized Donald Trump's sudden interest in cryptocurrency as insincere in his blog post "Hot Chick". Hayes suggested that currying favor with the young, politically active, and nouveau riche cryptocurrency community could help Trump win the election. As such, Trump is saying all the "right things" to boost his image among cryptocurrency supporters. Unfortunately, this newfound political attention has caught the eye of many in our industry. He stated: “What frustrates me is that many cryptocurrency experts who should know better are now blindly hosting flashy fundraising events for Trump's campaign. They mistakenly believe that Trump is sincere and as long as they donate enough money, actions to 'strangle cryptocurrencies' will disappear. This is pure nonsense. Trump is a shrewd politician; once he takes office any matters related to cryptocurrencies will become a distant memory."
