The top 100 "dirtiest" Bitcoin wallets collectively hold BTC worth over 88 million US dollars
The so-called "dirtiest Bitcoin addresses" currently hold over $88 million worth of BTC, these wallets are categorized as containing a "very small amount" of BTC, also known as dust addresses. Since January 2023, these addresses have accumulated more than 530 BTC. According to data from BitInfoCharts, these addresses collectively hold about 1380 BTC. Notably, many of the smallest addresses are relatively new, with nine out of the top ten receiving their first transaction after March 2023. The newest address among the top 100 has only a five-month history. Among these "dirtiest" wallets, the one controlled by Houbi exchange ranks at the top holding 12.46 BTC valued approximately at $792000 based on current exchange rates and has conducted over 1.59 million transactions accounting for .77% of all Bitcoin transactions.
In addition to this, there are seventy-eight addresses that belong to F2Pool bitcoin mining pool where its largest address holds around 2.47 bitcoins valued approximately at $172737 USD.The remaining ones are believed to be owned by retail and institutional investors but it's almost impossible to distinguish between them.It is worth mentioning that in those ranked in the top hundred wallets in year twenty-twenty-four , eighty-two have never had any wallet transfers in or out.
