Mt.Gox Trustee: Today, BTC and BCH have been repaid to some creditors through designated exchanges
Mt.Gox trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi has issued a notice stating that after July 5, 2024, on July 16, 2024, the Mt.Gox trustee repaid some creditors with Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash through designated cryptocurrency exchanges according to plan. As of now, the trustee has repaid Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to over 13,000 rehabilitated creditors. Once the following conditions are met, repayment will be made immediately to other creditors: (i) confirmation of the validity of registered accounts and other matters; (ii) intention to accept subscription agency receipt agreements by designated cryptocurrency exchanges; (iii) completion of discussions about repayment between trustees and designated cryptocurrency exchanges; (iv) confirmation that repayment can be done safely and reliably. We ask eligible creditors to wait for a while.
