EU to transfer 1.4 billion euros to Ukraine from frozen Russian assets
The European Union will provide 1.4 billion euros (1.52 billion US dollars) in military aid to Ukraine, with funding from frozen Russian assets' interest. Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, announced this decision at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and the first installment of funds will be transferred in early August.
