Messari: Polygon's daily active addresses increased by 47.6% quarter-on-quarter in the second quarter
Messari released Polygon's second quarter report, with the daily active addresses of Polygon reaching 1.2 million (an increase of 47.6% from the previous period), and an average of 4.1 million transactions per day (an increase of 3.9% from the previous period). The average transaction fee for Polygon PoS has dropped to $0.01, a decrease of 41.1%. Polygon's revenue in the second quarter (from network transaction fees) fell to $4 million, down by 40.6%. Games continued to lead in Q2 2024, with an average daily active game address count at 382,000, up by 85%. The total value locked (TVL) on Polygon PoS DeFi was $1 billion USD, down by 22.9% compared to last quarter; however, TVL priced in MATIC increased by 38.1%, reaching $1.8 billion USD - this indicates that the decline calculated in dollars is due to a drop in MATIC price rather than net capital outflows.
The market value of stablecoins on Polygon PoS continues to grow and reached $1.8 billion USD - an increase of17 .5% compared to last quarter.
