Immunefi: Cryptocurrency industry losses from hacking and fraud this year have exceeded $1.19 billion
According to a report from the Web3 vulnerability bounty and security service platform Immunefi, the cryptocurrency industry has suffered losses of over $1.19 billion due to 149 hacker attacks and fraud incidents so far this year, with a further $269.4 million in vulnerability attacks occurring in July. The total losses this year have increased by 16.3% compared to the same period in 2023, while losses during the same period last year were $1.02 billion.
