CME Federal Reserve Observation: The probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates in September is 100%
BlockBeats reports that on August 1, according to CME's "Federal Reserve Watch" data, the probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in September is 90.5%, and the probability of a cut by 50 basis points is 9.5%.
The likelihood of the Federal Reserve reducing interest rates cumulatively by 25 basis points until November stands at 21.7%. The chances for a cumulative reduction of 50 basis points are at 71.1%, while those for a decrease of up to 75 basis points stand at just about 7.2%.
