Galaxy: listed miners raise $1.8 billion in equity in Q1 2024, highest in a single quarter in 3 years
Listed mining companies raised a total of $1.8 billion in equity in the first quarter of 2024, the highest amount raised in a single quarter in the past three years, Galaxy said in its 2024 Bitcoin Mining Mid-Year Report. Of the $1.8 billion raised, 75% was accounted for by Marathon, CleanSpark and Riot, which are ranked in the top 3 by market capitalization.
