U.S. Senators Have Received Over 2,200 Letters Requesting Support for Cynthia Lummis' Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Act
According to Cointelegraph, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis introduced the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Act on July 31st, which would direct the U.S. government to launch a Bitcoin reserve fund. Within 48 hours, U.S. senators reportedly received more than 2,200 letters asking them to co-sponsor and support the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve Act.
According to Dennis Porter, founder of the Satoshi Action Fund, 1,333 letters were received by Democratic Senators, 850 by Republican Senators, and 41 by Independents, a bipartisan effort that demonstrates that interest in Bitcoin and its potential strategic value crosses political and ideological boundaries.
