Jupiter Platform Faces Gas Cost Miscalculation and DCA Downtime Issues
Jupiter co-founder meow has posted an update on some of the issues the Jupiter platform has been facing over the last week. Priority Gas cost miscalculation: An error in the priority cost estimate when calculating the gas needed for front-end execution, which is not easy to see under normal circumstances, but becomes a major issue during heavy congestion. The team takes full responsibility for this issue.
DCA downtime issue: Due to a CU estimation error, the platform's DCA function was down for about 6 hours, resulting in user orders not being filled. The team apologizes for this and will be reviewing operations to be more vigilant.
Low Liquidity Tokens: To ensure the secure execution of DCAs, the platform performs price and slippage checks before trading. However, the marked price of a low liquidity token may differ significantly from the execution price, preventing the engine from executing the trade. The team will improve the user interface by adding more information and optimizing the security checking methods.
Future plans: The team plans to add more information to the user interface and gradually implement smart security checks to address existing issues.
