Grayscale exec: Crypto ETFs will expand to new asset types and indices
Dave Lavalle, Grayscale’s global head of ETFs, reportedly said in an August 12 webinar: “We’re going to see more single-asset products, and certainly some index-based diversified products.” Many other proposed cryptocurrency ETFs are awaiting regulatory approval. They include new types of single-asset funds, such as the Solana (SOL) ETF, and diversified cryptocurrency indices, such as the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index ETF. National stock exchanges such as Nasdaq also hope to start listing BTC and ETH ETF options soon. Cryptocurrency ETFs have been in huge demand since their launch this year, partly due to adoption by large financial institutions such as Morgan Stanley.
