MetaMask Partners with Mastercard and Baanx to Launch Blockchain Debit Cards
MetaMask has announced the launch of a blockchain debit card in partnership with payments giant Mastercard and crypto payments specialist Baanx, CoinDesk reports. The debit card allows MetaMask users to make purchases directly from its self-hosted crypto wallet.
The card is expected to be fully launched later this year, starting with a pilot among a handful of users in the EU and UK. Users will be able to make purchases using USDC, USDT and wETH assets held on the Linea network.
