Deribit's bulk trade today: A user sold BTC year-end $85,000 call options
According to data released by Deribit, a user earned a premium of $265,000 today by selling 85,000 USD call options for BTC at the end of the year, totaling 90 BTC. Official personnel explained that this user sold overpriced call options because they believe the price will not exceed $85,000 before delivery at the end of the year. It is highly likely that they hold a considerable amount of spot goods and took this opportunity to earn profits by selling call options.
