SkyBridge Founder: cryptocurrency voters could cost Harris the US election
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, said that US presidential candidate Kamala Harris could lose the US election because of her failure to attract pro-cryptocurrency voters. Scaramucci said, “Let's say only 25 million people in the U.S. own cryptocurrencies, but let's say 5 percent of them are single-issue voters ...... If they're in swing states in the U.S., she's going to lose the election.” Scaramucci, who served as White House communications director in the Trump administration, admitted that the US Democratic Party's approach to the cryptocurrency industry has been “a disaster.” While the majority of the cryptocurrency community seems to support Donald Trump because of his pro-crypto campaign stance, Scaramucci doesn't think he's the ideal candidate for cryptocurrency. “He's the most transactional person you'll ever meet. Today he's pro-cryptocurrency; tomorrow, he may or may not be pro-cryptocurrency,” Scaramucci said.
