The Harris camp has an unprecedented fundraising effect on women
Kamala Harris, replacing Joe Biden as the Democratic presidential candidate, has unleashed a massive amount of funds from an emerging group of female donors. Harris's campaign team claims that 60% of the $310 million raised in July came from women. Official data will be released on Tuesday and gender-specific data still needs to be separately analyzed, but preliminary signs show that she can inspire more women to donate, and more importantly, is expected to drive this ratio beyond any previous U.S. election.
