Sei Ecological Wallet Seif: The recent security incident was not an external hacker attack or intrusion
Sei Ecological Wallet Seif issued a clarification on the X platform regarding recent security incidents, stating that leaked private keys and passwords were inadvertently sent to a secure third-party analysis platform, which can only be accessed by authorized Seif administrators. This is not an external hacker attack or intrusion. Seif takes this incident very seriously and recommends immediate action, assuring that the risk of external access to these data is minimal. Efforts are currently being made to delete all sensitive data and improve security protocols. It is reported that a small portion of private keys and passwords were collected by the built-in third-party analysis platform in the wallet, fortunately discovered and reported by white-hat hackers. It should also not be malicious activity from the third-party analysis platform.
