The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Dow up 0.59%, the Nasdaq down 0.23%, and the SP 500 flat. Popular technology stocks rose and fell, with Nvidia falling more than 6%, and its market value evaporated by nearly $200 billion in a single day. Intel rose more than 2%, and Apple rose more than 1%.
