ChainCatcher message, according to CCData statistics, September has always been one of the worst-performing months for Bitcoin prices, with an average return rate of -4.51%. Historically, only six Septembers have recorded positive returns. In contrast, April and November have the highest average return rates at 35.6% and 39.2% respectively. Despite usually underperforming in September, it bucked the trend in 2023 and achieved a modest return of 4.00%.
Despite low returns, Bitcoin's annualized volatility in September is relatively low on average at 79.2%.
