Crypto Venture Capital Fund Halo Capital Raises $25 Million
Daniel Howard, son of British hedge fund billionaire Alan Howard, and partner Bhavin Vaid have announced the creation of Halo Capital, a crypto venture capital fund that has raised $25 million and aims to bring a growth investor mindset to early-stage crypto projects. Headquartered in New York City, Halo Capital invests in a wide range of sectors, from Bitcoin to decentralized artificial intelligence. The fund has already invested in projects such as Bima Labs and Andrena, and has brought in around 20 partners to provide specialized advice. Both founders have extensive crypto investment experience, having previously worked at 10T Holdings, a cryptocurrency-focused private equity firm. They began fundraising in March 2024 and officially launched the fund in June. Currently, Halo Capital has invested in several projects, including Bima Labs and Andrena, but the exact amount of the investment has not been disclosed.
