Probability of Fed rate cut of 25 bps in September rises to 85%
The probability of the Fed cutting rates by 25 basis points in September is 85 per cent, and the probability of a 50 basis point cut is 15 per cent. The probability of a cumulative 50 bps rate cut by the Fed by November is 45.6%, the probability of a cumulative 75 bps rate cut is 47.5% and the probability of a cumulative 100 bps rate cut is 7%.
