Shots fired near Trump-owned golf course, gunman reportedly armed with an AK-47

According to law enforcement sources, agents found a man with an AK-47 rifle near Trump's golf course, and after agents shot the man, Trump was rushed to safety by the Secret Service. The former president was playing golf at his golf course around 2 p.m. local time on Sunday. The shooter was reportedly spotted by advance teams a few holes in front of Trump. It is unclear if the man was on or near the runway. An agent opened fire and fired several shots. Trump's presidential campaign released a statement after the incident saying that Trump is safe and that the specifics of the case are under further investigation.
