Fed's Christopher Waller backs 50 bps rate cut
Fed Governor Waller expressed support for a 50 basis point rate cut and said that recent inflation data supports the decision. Waller mentioned that a fortnight ago he had considered a 25 basis point rate cut as a good option, but remained open to a more substantial 50 basis point cut.
