The number of wallets holding 0.0001 or less BTC has increased by 75% in the past 52 weeks

BitInfo Charts data shows that in the past 52 weeks, the number of wallets holding 1000 or more BTC has increased by nearly 3.5%. Meanwhile, the number of wallets holding 0.0001 or less BTC has increased by 75%, while the number of wallets holding between 1 and 10 BTC seems to be shrinking. Specifically, the number of wallets holding between 1 and 10 BTC decreased by about 0.35%, and those with between ten to a hundred fell over three percent. The only group not growing is those with one hundred thousand or more bitcoins.

On another note, there was a decrease in wallet numbers for those containing ten thousand or more bitcoins at around -3.88% but an increase for those having from one thousand up to ten thousand bitcoins at approximately +3.43%. It's important to note that these figures do not necessarily represent individual bitcoin users as many can be associated with either one person or organization; others might have been abandoned.

Statistically speaking, this suggests that a significant portion of mid-level Bitcoin holders have fallen back from ranges of one to a hundred down towards near-zero levels. If so, then as per October-2023 data, many among them who had their holdings valued anywhere from $26,542 up till $2,654200 saw reductions during last year's period.

On a positive note though since early-2024 onwards there has been roughly twenty-five percent growth in terms of wallet counts where each held Bitcoins worth over million dollars.
