Deribit bulk options: a user sold ETH end-October $2700 call options, a total of 3,000 pieces of ETH
On September 24, according to the data released by the official staff of Deribit, the largest ETH block options transaction today, a user sold call options for $2,700 at the end of October, a total of 3,000 pieces of ETH, earning a royalty of $563,000, said the user holds a large amount of ETH spot and earns a profit by selling call options.
The user, who holds a large amount of ETH in spot, made a profit by selling call options, and if the price of ETH is less than $3,000 at the time of delivery (the break-even point), he will make a profit, with a 5.7% return on his cryptocurrency position, he said. The user is willing to continue to hold the spot to earn royalties, but also willing to sell the spot at the end of October at the price of 2,700 U.S. dollars to lock in profits.
