More than 20 industry professionals requested a meeting with Harris campaign policy team this month to discuss crypto policy
Golden Finance reported that several crypto industry leaders requested a meeting with the campaign policy team of US Vice President Harris and running mate Tim Walz this month to discuss policy recommendations to promote innovation and inclusion.
In a letter sent to the campaign policy team on Tuesday, Nat'lpolicy Network WOC blockchain founder Cleve Mesidor, Black Women Blockchain Committee founder Olayinka Odeniran, and Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law School professor Tonya Evans and others called for the establishment of a regulatory framework for Web3 and DeFi to encourage innovation in the United States. More than 20 people signed the letter. They wrote: "Our group of different Web3 and DeFi industry leaders wrote to request a meeting with the Harris Walz campaign policy team in October 2024 to discuss the importance of Web3 and DeFi policies and regulatory frameworks that promote American innovation."
