AT&T to face charges of failing to protect subscriber information, Terpin claims at least $45 million
ATT will once again face charges of failing to protect subscriber information after a ruling partially in ATT's favor was overturned on appeal, Cointelegraph reports.
The case began in 2020 when crypto investor Michael Terpin sued a high school graduate for allegedly stealing Terpin's $24 million cryptocurrency, Trigger, through a SIM card swap.
