Godfish Calls for Permit Signature Switch to be Added to dApp and Plugin Wallets
On October 11th, Cobo co-founder and CEO Shenyu posted an article calling for dApps and plugin wallets to add Permit signature switches.
Previously, Slow Mist founder Yu Yin said, “In the first half of 2023, eth_sign, a blind signature mechanism, was deprecated/disabled by wallets, so permit/permit2, an offline authorization signature, can wallets add some wind control? Can project owners not use it on the contract layer and disable it on the front-end page? Are users that close to gas? Many people can be careless with offline signatures that don't consume gas... and that's a really bad pitfall.
