Craig Wright Launches New Legal Action Against Bitcoin Core Developers for £910 Billion

Craig Wright Launches New Legal Action Against Bitcoin Core Developers for £910 Billion

On October 18, Craig Wright, who was exposed for his lies after a British High Court dismissed his lawsuit claiming to be Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto, has now launched another legal action, according to Forbes. This time, he is once again targeting Bitcoin Core developers.Wright claims that Bitcoin Core developers incorrectly described Bitcoin Cash (BTC) as the original Bitcoin, while he maintains that BSV is the true version of Bitcoin.Wright's claim, which he filed in the High Court of London's Court of Equity, estimates damages at a staggering 911,050. 000,000,000 pounds, with the claim's figures based on the difference in market valuation between Bitcoin and BSV, which Wright supports as truly representing Satoshi Nakamoto's original vision for Bitcoin.

Hodlonaut, who has previously won a defamation case against Wright in Norway, criticized Wright's latest legal action. In a statement, he said, “It is very much in character for Wright to begin using ChatGPT to represent him in an increasingly absurd legal farce when no reputable law firm is willing to continue to defend Wright's litany of lies and forgeries. Of course, this will not end well for Wright.” In response to Wright's continued legal action, COPA released a statement indicating that they have taken note of Wright's recent lawsuit. They expressed confidence that this legal attempt would fail like his previous efforts.

In a decisive legal battle earlier this year, Judge Mellor in COPA v. Wright ruled that the evidence against Wright was “overwhelming” and concluded that Wright was not the author of the Bitcoin whitepaper or Satoshi Nakamoto.
