Dogecoin Supporter Elon Musk Talks About XRP! Is There a Support Statement?
Tesla CEO Elon Musk talked about XRP.
Dogecoin (DOGE) supporter Tesla CEO Elon Musk has recently come to the fore with his support for Donald Trump.
At this point, he attended Trump's rallies in various places and most recently attended Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.
During this rally, a participant asked Elon Musk a question about Ripple (XRP). However, Musk did not make a statement of support for XRP as he did with DOGE, preferring to remain neutral on XRP.
What Did Elon Musk Say About XRP?
An attendee asked Musk about his opinion on whether XRP should be integrated into the global financial system in the future, considering the SEC’s hostile approach towards crypto under the Biden administration.
Musk did not speak out for or against XRP and in response to this question, he gave a general opinion on the role of cryptocurrencies, saying:
“I am not actively involved in cryptocurrencies. But I think cryptocurrencies are interesting and the most valuable asset to use against central control.
This certainly doesn't mean I approve or disapprove of XRP, but I do think that crypto is inherently conducive to individual freedom.”
While Elon Musk has emerged as a fervent advocate of crypto technology, particularly Dogecoin (DOGE) and Bitcoin (BTC), his companies Tesla and SpaceX still hold Bitcoin that they purchased in 2021 and also accept Dogecoin in their products.
