Blockchain solar company Glow closes $30m funding round
Blockchain solar company Glow has closed a $30 million funding round led by Framework Ventures and Union Square Ventures, with no other specifics disclosed at this time. Glow reportedly operates a Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) of solar farms in the US and India. To encourage the farms on its network to use clean energy, the founders have designed an economic model based on subsidies and token incentives.
