Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson harshly criticized meme coins during a live stream on Halloween, October 31, 2024. Hoskinson claimed they are fundamentally worthless. "Meme coins, they have no value, they will never have value, they will never have value, stop thinking that they will ever be valuable, you degenerates. Grow up," he asserted.
