Research: Options market is seeing clear profit taking
Adam, a macro researcher at Greek.live, analyzed in a post on X platform that the election market has quickly cooled down. Although Bitcoin and Ethereum have strong momentum and the cryptocurrency market sentiment is optimistic, the options market is clearly profit-taking and ending the election game. BTC end-of-day options have fallen below 50%, and the IV of major maturities has also decreased significantly, with ETH falling less than BTC. Today, BTC's bulk transaction volume was 1.2 billion, and ETH's bulk transaction volume was 600 million, both mainly selling options. This is also the main driving force for the large drop in IV today, and the bulk transactions in recent days are worth paying attention to.
