US SEC again postpones decision on listing of spot Ethereum ETF options on New York Stock Exchange
On November 9th, according to The Block, the US SEC has once again delayed its decision on whether to approve the request for a listing of Ethereum ETF options on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). In the submitted document, the SEC stated that the delay is aimed at conducting more analysis and public opinion, especially regarding whether the proposed rule changes comply with the requirements of the Securities Exchange Act.
The SEC emphasized concerns about the potential impact of the proposal on preventing market manipulation, protecting investors, and ensuring a fair trading system, which fall under the provisions of Section 6(b)(5) of the Securities Exchange Act.
