According to the CME ‘Fed Watch’, the probability that the Fed will keep current rates unchanged by December is 37.9%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis points of interest rate cuts is 32.1%. The probability of keeping current rates unchanged by January next year is 26.5%, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 54.9%, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 18.6%.
