Bloomberg Analyst: CFTC has cleared the way for the listing of Bitcoin spot ETF options
Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas stated on platform X that the CFTC's clearing and risk department released a staff advisory report today, involving the clearing of exchange-traded fund options on spot commodity exchanges. This notice has cleared the way for the listing of spot Bitcoin ETF options. This is the second obstacle to be cleared after the SEC. Now we just need to wait for OCC (Options Clearing Corporation) to list them.
