Analyst: Bitcoin and stocks have not succumbed to the pressure of rising borrowing costs, still capitalizing on the market enthusiasm for "Trump trade"
Mohannad Aama, portfolio manager at Beam Capital Management, said that the current higher bond yields could arguably increase market risk. However, both stocks and Bitcoin have not succumbed to the pressure brought about by rising borrowing costs but have been capitalizing on investors' enthusiasm for "Trump trades". If corporate earnings do not meet investor expectations or if Trump does not fulfill his promise to establish a national Bitcoin reserve, these two markets may be in trouble.
