Solana developers propose to increase the block computation limit to handle more transactions and improve network efficiency
According to Cryptoslate, Solana developers have proposed increasing the network's block computation limit from 48 million units to 50 million units in order to process more transactions and improve network efficiency. According to details shared on GitHub through the Solana Improvement Document, this incremental increase is intended to improve transaction processing without affecting network performance. Anza software developer and author of the proposal, Andrew Fitzgerald mentioned that this idea is still in draft stage. This suggests that further refinement may be made before final approval.
