Hamas delegation: We have discussed with Egypt about achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and other matters
On December 9, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement on the night of the 8th local time, stating that a delegation led by senior official Khalil al-Hayya left Cairo, Egypt's capital, after meeting with the director of Egypt's General Intelligence Directorate. The statement said that both sides discussed issues such as achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and establishing new management mechanisms. The Hamas delegation emphasized its support for related efforts and is committed to ending hostile actions against the Palestinian people.
