Bitcoin mining company MARA has announced in a post on X that it has acquired 11,774 Bitcoins at a price of approximately $96,000 per Bitcoin for a total of approximately $1.1 billion, with a holding of 40,435 BTC as of 9 December 2024, through the proceeds of its zero-coupon convertible bond offering.
